How it Works
The weekly sale takes place each Saturday at 9:30 AM for chickens, rabbits, ducks, geese, quail and almost any other small farm animal. Morning bidding number registration starts at 9am.
The second sale starts at 12:30 PM on Saturdays for pigs, goats, sheep and cattle. Afternoon bidding number registration starts at 12pm.
You must register for a bidding number with a form of BC identification (BC ID, drivers license, etc) and a $5 deposit which will be refunded after the number is returned at the end of the sale day. Please note: 1 customer in the office at a time.
Payments
We ONLY accept cash or interac/debit
Buyers
Buyers are required to register in the office and get a personal bidding number for $5, this will be refunded when the number is returned on the day the bidding number is purchased
A BC ID (drivers license, service card, etc) issued by the government of BC with a current home address is needed.
Separate bidding numbers are needed for morning and afternoon sales.
If you wish to use your farm status PST number please let us know at the time of registration.
Animal Transportation
If required, buyers and sellers can make arrangements through the auction office to have animals transported for an additional charge.
Sellers Information
Our office is open Friday from 9:00AM to 4:00 PM to pick up money from the previous auctions.
Morning Sellers
- Morning sale items will NOT be paid out the day of sale. Payment will be the following week(s)
- Payment can be picked up on Fridays: 9am-4pm OR Saturdays : 9AM-1PM
Afternoon Sellers:
- Livestock must be on premises by 12 noon
- Forms must be filled out completely and properly when dropping off animals.
